Lawrencetown Beach & Cafe
Lawrencetown Beach is a 15 min drive. With walking trails, surfing, or relaxing on the beach it's a must visit Eastern Shore location. The cafe has stunning views, great coffee and a small selection of baked goods and light bites! It's a local and tourist hot spot.

Conrad Beach
A very popular beach in the summer months, Conrad is a classic Nova Scotian sandy beach that allows you wander for kms. Parking can be an issue in the warmer months, but is easily remedied by getting to the beach early to avoid crowds and a long walk from the car.

Crowbar trail
Just 5 minutes from Littlewoods, Crowbar is a network of trails where you can hike for 1 or 5 hours. This popular trail takes you into protected forest and if you choose the longer route, a beautiful lake awaits you.

Musquodoboit Harbour
The community of Musquodoboit Harbour provides visitors with an array of activities. From hiking the railway trails to surfing at Martinque Beach, or eating at a local cafe, to discovering award winning restaurant, Lupin Dining & Pantry. You could easily pass a day here and not be bored.

Dartmouth & Halifax
Both Dartmouth and Halifax are vibrant places to visit and explore. Downtown Dartmouth is a small but bustling place with a wide choice of excellent places to eat out. Saturday mornings in Dartmouth offer a large farmers market with lots of international food options and local artisans. Which is conveniently located at the ferry terminal for Halifax. Halifax is easy to wander around, with lots of unique shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The board walk is stunning to walk along on a warm summers evening and enjoy an outdoor dining experience.

Taylor Head Provincial Park
The one-hour drive from Littlewoods to Taylor Head is part of the experience. The stunning drive takes you further along the Eastern Shore, hugging the rugged coastline for the majority of it. Once there you can enjoy 14 kms of untouched coastal hiking, plus one of Nova Scotia's finest white sand beaches. With crystal clear waters it won't feel like you're in Nova Scotia. A heads up, make sure to bring lots of drinking water with you, there isn't anywhere for day visitors to fill up water bottles.
